Leica M3 Custom Covering, Round ear strap lug type



This is Custom covering kit for Leica M3 (NOT genuine parts supplied by Leitz).

Composite Leather (kind of soft plastic) made. 3 kinds of the materials are available,

• #4008 Leatherette : sample photo / Comparison with Original M3 vulcanite
• #4034 Leatherette (In Micro-tools, it is called as Morocco Grain Black)
• #4040 Leatherette (known as Screwmount Leica repair leather): sample photo

All of the materials are made by Koyo Orient Japan. The camera leatherette manufacturer.
Very Durable and solid touch (not slippery).

Self Adhesive and you do not need glue when you install this kit.
Not necessary to take out any parts from the camera except original vulcanite.

The are several types for Leica M3, but this kit fits to one type (supposed to the most popular one).
Please confirm your Leica M3 has features below,

1. Has Selftimer
2. Has Finder select lever
3. Round ear like Strap Lugs.



It does NOT fit to the other Models, for example which does not have Selftimer or does not have Finder Select lever, etc.

But I will enclose the small pieces to close the Selftimer hole and Finder Select lever hole.
If you want, you can apply and obscure the hole as shown below. (You can not conceal the hole perfectly, though)

This covering kit is made with special shape cutter (metal mold) and pressing machine
